The Executive Masters in HR Leadership Program at Rutgers University
The EMHRL is a one-year accelerated masters program targeted at HR talent with a strong potential for senior HR leadership positions. The EMHRL is unique in its emphasis on HR leadership, especially focusing on the external context of the firm, the role of HR in competitive organizations and the efficacy of the top HR position within the firm. Graduates of this program will be the next generation of Senior HR Vice Presidents in major corporations.
The program runs from January to December (excluding August) with participants meeting twice a month from Thursday evening to Saturday afternoon. It covers ten modules taught by world-renowned HR faculty/practitioners. A key take-away from the program will be an action-learning project dealing with an important issue faced by the sponsoring organization. Admission to the Executive Master in Human Resource Leadership is highly selective and the senior-most HR executive of the sponsoring company must personally sponsor each candidate.
